Micah brings a unique perspective to the Insurance Business and he began his professional career as a psychotherapist/ counselor, before being promoted to positions in hospital management.
While studying at St. Edward’s College in Austin, Texas, he discovered a passion for computers and software development, leading to a new career as an database consultant & systems analyst. He has provided consulting services to several Fortune 500 companies including QVC Network, Deutsche Bank, Wyeth Labs, Smithkline Beacham, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Becton Dickinson, Netscape, and Wiley & Son Publishing (among others).
During his years as a software developer & systems analyst, Micah co-authored two books on Paradox for Windows and contributed to a third. He was a member of Borland International’s elite online tech support team, “TeamB” and was a featured speaker at numerous technical conferences.
Micah has developed and sold three highly successful Internet companies. An online retail company, an online automobile advertising company and most recently a national online Surety Bond Brokerage and held insurance licenses in all 50 states. He still maintains a small handful of legacy consulting clients, assisting them with their Internet Marketing activities including a Las Vegas Luxury Real Estate Brokerage, and he manages Bleecher Insurance Advisors’ marketing, both online and locally.
Since 2021, Micah has focused primarily on his real estate career as a licensed Nevada REALTOR®. He has been a top producer at every brokerage where he has worked and The Micah Bleecher Group is currently brokered with eXp Realty, specializing in Las Vegas relocation, 55+ communities, retirement living, single-story homes, and luxury and estate properties. Through his YouTube channel, I Love Living in Las Vegas, Micah provides practical guidance about local communities, housing, lifestyle, and the relocation process. Although he no longer operates a general consumer insurance practice, he continues to maintain his insurance license and limited authority related to merchant surety bonding.
When not working, Micah likes reading, meditating, fitness, and Pilates. He is a connoisseur of fine music, plays the guitar, and has performed with numerous blues and R&B bands here in Las Vegas.
Micah is the former President of the Las Vegas Blues Society, and former Chairman of the Board of Governors at Canyon Gate Country Club.
