In addition to the Bleecher Insurance Agency, she (along with her husband, Micah) operates MJ Bleecher & Associates, LLC, an Internet marketing/consulting firm, and ITM Web, Inc., an Internet advertising firm for privately owed vehicle sales.
Prior to opening her Las Vegas Farmers agency, she was the financial controller for the residential and commercial builder, Bramble Development Group and its related group of companies.
Maria has a wide variety of professional experience. In the mid 80's she was a political appointee to the Department of Health and Human Services in the Ronald Reagan administration, where she worked on the Combined Federal Campaign and the US Savings Bond Campaign.
In 1995, Maria was part of a team that developed and managed Seven Bridges Ice Arena in Woodridge, Illinois (a Chicago suburb) that was the premier ice skating facility in the mid-west. Partners in the project included Chicago developer and philanthropist, Irving Harris, and hockey greats Jeremy Roenick, Keith Magnuson, and Doug Wilson.
4 year residents of Las Vegas, Maria and Micah moved from San Francisco, where Maria was a collaborative coordinator for the nationally recognized Peninsula Community Foundation where she developed and implemented their programs in the Laguna Salada Union School District.
Maria is the proud mother of 3 boys, Seth, Adam & Max, and 2 papillions, Vito and Bruno. She is an honors graduate of Benedictine University with a degree in accounting.
